Apulia Dance Experience is an event - now in its third edition - that will take place from August 25 to 29, 2026 in the city of Conversano - a beautiful town in the province of Bari - spread across different areas of the town itself.
The initiative was born from the desire of Donatella Sgobba, a well-known dancer from Conversano, to pay tribute to her beloved mother, who in 1980 founded the first dance school in Conversano and for many years was a point of reference for many young aspiring dancers.
Donatella Sgobba
Her training began at the Accademia del Teatro alla Scala, continuing with Pas de deux, IALS, and the Broadway Dance Center in New York. She has worked as a dancer and performer with Compagnia della Rancia (Seven Brides for Seven Brothers, Grease), Teatro Sistina, and the Teatro alla Scala in Milan.
Since 2010, she has dedicated herself to teaching classical ballet, Modern/Jazz, and Musical theatre at several dance schools across Italy.

Francesco Borelli
He trained in Milan, Rome, Paris, and New York. An eclectic personality, she has navigated the world of dance first as a dancer, and later as a teacher and journalist. She has worked as a soloist with Balletto di Milano, often performing leading roles.
