Born in Moncalieri, Italy, she began her dance training in Turin and, in 2007, was admitted to the first-year class of the Ballet School of the Accademia Teatro alla Scala. During her years at the Academy, she performed in numerous school productions and also appeared in productions of the Teatro alla Scala Ballet Company. After graduating in May 2015, she joined the Company as a member of the corps de ballet.\n\nShe has since performed in a wide range of productions and creations for the Company, both in Milan and on international tours. Her repertoire includes major roles in works by Alexei Ratmansky (The Sleeping Beauty<\/em> as the Lilac Fairy and Diamond Fairy; Swan Lake,<\/em> in the Pas de Trois and later as Odette\/Odile), Mauro BigonzettiCinderella<\/em> as the Fairy Godmother; Progetto H\u00e4ndel<\/em>), Nacho Duato ((The Nutcracker <\/em>Colombina), Rudolf Nureyev (Lescaut\u2019s Mistress<\/em> as the Street Dancer and Fandango Soloist), Massimiliano Volpini(The Lovers\u2019 Garden<\/em>as a principal interpreter), Kenneth MacMillan(Romeo and Juliet <\/em>in the title role), George Balanchine (Symphony in C – <\/em>Symphony in C and A Midsummer Night\u2019s Dream),<\/em>), John Cranko (Onegin, <\/em>as Olga), John Neumeier (La Dame aux cam\u00e9lias<\/em> Lady of the Camellias as Prudence), Heinz Spoerli (Goldberg-Variationen),<\/em> Ji\u0159\u00ed Kyli\u00e1n (Petite Mort), <\/em>Maurice B\u00e9jart (Bol\u00e9ro). <\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Since April 2018, she has been a Principal Dancer with Teatro alla Scala; her repertoire has expanded to include Le Corsaire<\/em> by Anna-Marie Holmes (Gulnare and Medora), Apollo<\/em> by George Balanchine (Polyhymnia); The Sleeping Beauty<\/em> by Rudolf Nureyev (the Pas de Cinq, later Aurora and one of the Seven Fairies); the title role of Kitri in Don Quixote<\/em> by Rudolf Nureyev; L\u2019Histoire de Manon<\/em> by Kenneth MacMillan (Lescaut\u2019s Mistress); The Nutcracker<\/em> by George Balanchine (Dewdrop and Sugarplum Fairy); Woolf Works<\/em> by Wayne McGregor (Rezia in I now, I then<\/em> and Becomings<\/em>).\n\nShe performed the title role in Sylvia<\/em> by Manuel Legris, which opened La Scala Ballet\u2019s 2019\u20132020 Season; she danced in Adagio Hammerklavier<\/em> and Sarcasmen<\/em> by Hans van Manen and Le Jeune Homme et la Mort<\/em> by Roland Petit. For the gala evening \u201cA riveder le stelle\u201d, she was among the performers in Verdi Suite<\/em>, a creation by Manuel Legris. She made her debut in the title role of Act I of Giselle<\/em>; for the gala \u201cGreat Moments of Dance\u201d, she performed \u201cCivilisation\u201d in the pas de deux from Excelsior<\/em>, and in Homage to Nureyev<\/em> she reprised the role of Aurora in the Rose Adagio from The Sleeping Beauty<\/em>.\n\nIn \u201cEvening of Great Choreographers\u201d, she danced the pas de deux from Debussy pour sept danseurs<\/em> by Roland Petit and the divertissement from Paquita<\/em>. She again appeared in Verdi Suite<\/em> for the \u201cEvening of Four Choreographers\u201d. In the \u201cContemporary Evening\u201d, she performed in The Vertiginous Thrill of Exactitude<\/em> by William Forsythe. During \u201cLa Scala in citt\u00e0\u201d, she danced the Act III pas de deux from Sylvia<\/em> and the Grand Pas de Deux from Don Quixote<\/em>.\n\nShe created the role of Olga in the world premiere of Madina<\/em>, choreographed by Mauro Bigonzetti to an original score by Fabio Vacchi. In La Bayad\u00e8re<\/em> by Rudolf Nureyev, which opened the 2021\u20132022 Season, she performed the role of Nikiya. In Jewels<\/em> by George Balanchine, she danced one of the two leading couples in Emeralds<\/em> and the principal couple in Diamonds<\/em>. At Gala Fracci<\/em>, she performed the pas de deux from La P\u00e9ri<\/em>. For Wayne McGregor\u2019s production AfteRite+LORE<\/em>, she was part of the opening cast of AfteRite<\/em>.\n\nIn the July 2022 revival of Giselle<\/em>, she danced the title role. In the September 2022 revival of Onegin<\/em> by John Cranko, she reprised the role of Olga and made her debut as Tatiana. She debuted as Clara in The Nutcracker<\/em> by Rudolf Nureyev, which opened the 2022\u20132023 Ballet Season. In the Dawson\/Duato\/Kratz\/Kyli\u00e1n<\/em> programme, she was among the leading performers in Anima Animus<\/em> (David Dawson). In Le Corsaire<\/em> by Manuel Legris, she performed the role of Medora. For \u201cWilliam Forsythe Evening \u2013 Blake Works V\u201d, she was among the leading performers in Blake Works I<\/em>.\n\nAt the 2023 edition of Gala Fracci<\/em>, she performed the pas de deux from Le Loup<\/em> by Roland Petit and the Pas classique hongrois<\/em> from Raymonda<\/em>. In the June\u2013July 2023 revival of Romeo and Juliet<\/em> by Kenneth MacMillan, she returned to the title role of Juliet. In September 2023, she made her debut as Odette\/Odile in Swan Lake<\/em>, choreographed by Rudolf Nureyev, and in November reprised both Tatiana and Olga in Onegin<\/em> by John Cranko. She appeared in Copp\u00e9lia<\/em>, Alexei Ratmansky\u2019s new production that opened the 2023\u20132024 Ballet Season, making her debut as Swanilda. In the triple bill Smith\/Le\u00f3n and Lightfoot\/Valastro<\/em>, she was among the leading performers in Reveal<\/em> by Garrett Smith.
\n\nFor L\u2019Histoire de Manon<\/em> in July 2024, she reprised the role of Lescaut\u2019s Mistress; in Lady of the Camellias<\/em> by John Neumeier, she performed the role of Manon before subsequently making her debut in the title role of Marguerite Gautier. In the Balanchine\/Robbins Triple Bill<\/em>, she danced the roles of \u201cMauve\u201d and \u201cGreen\u201d in Dances at a Gathering<\/em>. In the Kratz\/Preljocaj\/De Bana<\/em> programme, she performed Solitude Sometimes<\/em> by Philippe Kratz for the first time. For La Scala\u2019s premiere of Peer Gynt<\/em> by Edward Clug, she performed the role of Solveig, and in Paquita<\/em> by Pierre Lacotte she danced the title role. In the Lander\/Kyli\u00e1n\/B\u00e9jart<\/em> triple bill, she was a principal performer in \u00c9tudes<\/em> by Harald Lander and reprised Bol\u00e9ro<\/em> and Petite Mort<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Among her distinctions, she received the Danza & Danza Award for Emerging Performer for the 2016 season, the Positano Premia la Danza L\u00e9onide Massine Award as Dancer of the Year on the International Scene in 2020, and the Premio Nazionale Sfera d\u2019Oro per la Danza in 2021.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
